This is an untethered jailbreak for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad 1, iPod touch 3G and iPod touch 4G. Note: This DOES NOT work on the iPhone 4S or iPad 2. If you have a 4S, don’t do this. 5.0.1 Firmware: Find Here

Step 1: Open redsn0w 0.9.10b1 on Windows (Run as admin) or Mac – you should see the following screen;

Step 2: Now click on Extras and click “Select IPSW”, then select the corresponding firmware that matches with the iDevice you want to jailbreak.

Step 3: Go to the main screen by clicking Back and select Jailbreak

Step 4: Follow the on-screen instructions to enter DFU Mode on your iDevice

Step 5: Wait for redsn0w to finish the jailbreaking process until it says: Done! (Process may still continue on iDevice)

Step 6: Enjoy your Untethered Jailbreak!
